Water and energy management
Course Description
This course explores the interrelationship between water and energy, emphasizing integrated approaches to managing both resources sustainably. Topics include water conservation, energy-efficient water treatment, renewable energy in water systems, and the concept of the water-energy nexus. Students will analyze case studies of successful water-energy management projects and learn about policies, technologies, and strategies for reducing environmental impact while meeting increasing demand for these critical resources.
