Course Description
Energy is the key factor for smart city development. This course describes the overview of structure, properties of materials for the development of modern energy technology. Fundamental aspects of organic and inorganic electrolytes materials will be explained in detail. Various types and properties of electrode materials will be discussed. Common electrolyte and electrode materials are based on organic and inorganic materials. Preparation methods, structures, and performance properties will be studied. Working principles and designs of different energy devices (rechargeable batteries, supercapacitors, and solar cells) will be explained.
