Course Description

This course focuses on how smart technologies are revolutionizing healthcare delivery and outcomes. Topics include telemedicine, artificial intelligence (AI)-driven diagnostics. Students will explore the integration of internet of thing (IoT) in healthcare, data analytics for patient monitoring and a case of study with the integration of both technologies to support healthcare system. Case studies will highlight the role of technology in improving healthcare access, reducing costs, and enhancing the quality of care, especially in urban and smart city settings

Learning Outcomes

• Students understand the smart technologies (IoT, Data Science, and AI) and their impact on healthcare
• Students are motivated to find a solution using IoT and/or AI to deal an issue in field of healthcare.
